Default A double neck story

Usually I like read yours story becose I think that you are the best guitarmaker of world. But I would like tell you about this istrument.

Few years ago a custumer came to my lab and ask me for a very very special project.
The result is the one that you can see in this page: an acoustic double neck ( 6 and 12 strings) with german spruce top and cocobolo back and sides. Fingerboards and bridge are also in cocobolo and the bindings are in wenge. Necks are sandwitch of european maple and ipe.
The project it's, for the moment, one of the more hard that I had done, but I was satisfied for the result obtained.

I use french polish for this guitar. You can see the yellow tone of the varnish.

There is an LR Baggs amplification system that I had modified for the double source of the saddles.

working on, you can see the hole that I call "mouth of truth"..

Thanks for posting such an interesting build. Post a video! I would love to hear it.

Hope all is well in Italy for you and your circle. I look forward returning when things settle down.

Nice build! Hey: we got our country's name from a guy from Florence who had your first name. Of course, his last name was Vespucci.
