Wow, if these sound as good as they look, we are all in for some real treats! Stunning artistry. Here’s the Traugott I’m bringing, will need to find pic of my Huss.

Gorgeous guitar! I've never played a Traugott - never even seen one in real life!

This is my first post on the AGF, though I have been following things for several months. As a brief introduction, I'm an almost-retired pastor in the Chicago area. I've built one guitar a year for 40 years.

I am so excited to be coming to BIG(er) next week! I'm going to bring my personal guitar, a 00-12 fret, in order to participate in the DADGAD seminar. I look forward to meeting you all soon.

Dave

What a beauty, Chris, seriously! And that sound hole... how do you make these things up? I'm almost jealous, as this Saddle Pal looks -almost- as good as mine, which I love. Cedar seems to be an excellent choice.

Beautiful guitars, all of them. I'll take the Sexauer as well I hope you'll all have a great time at B. I. G.!!!

What a great idea - springtime in the beautiful Texas hill country with plenty of time to get to know each other, and to get to know the instruments. What fun! Here are some photos of the Saddle Pal we are bringing. Western red cedar top, waterfall bubinga back and sides, 25.5" scale, 12 frets to the body, VS custom tuners, Ameritage case, of course (like all Lame Horse Instruments) adjustable playing action and Rea access panel. Over the few days, we will post some more photos of other things we are bringing along.

Well, providing it arrives to me in time to bring, I will bring this little beauty from Tom Doerr. It's a Trinity Select Signature Series with Swiss Spruce top and BRW body, fretboard and bridge.

Looks like Tom Doer has been influenced by my hybrid cutaway! He's not the first, either. A small thing, but I have never seen it on an acoustic before I tried it. No surprise, as it invokes all the trouble of both types, Florentine and Venetian.

It does resemble yours, Bruce, and I'm all for it. It's much more attractive than the typical Florentine cutaway, IMHO. This Doerr otherwise doesn't look much like a Sexauer, though it's still a very beautiful guitar. I hope I get the opportunity to see and hear it!

Add me to the list regarding your Doerr, Eddie. Tom's definitely got the chops!

If all goes according to plan, I'm having my Bashkin being delivered to B.I.G.er for my unveiling. It was just strung up last week (Inlays by Harvey Leach).

@nootis, what a beauty. Harvey Leach inlay? That's awesome. He was so kind to have contributed his inlay skills and also hooked us up with Lucky Strike tops for the Luthiers for a Cause project we did a couple of years ago.
