Recommend me an amp
I need an amp in the sub $700 range that will work with acoustic guitars and full hollow body archtop. Wanting to explore jazz music. This will be for home use or small venues. I got a little fender 15w acoustasonic but I want to up grade with an amp that can handle both types of guitars. Thanks

Lots of options in your price range and below... a used AER Compact 60 would be terrific for what you describe, but one at that price may be hard to find...
There's a new amp (although not a new company) called the Nu-X that I have had the chance to mess with a bit down at my local store, Bullfrog Music. Compact size, ~22#s, 50 watts, 2 channels each with independent tone and effects... PLUS, a wireless Bluetooth foot pedal to control the chorus and reverb, as well as a looper and a drum machine! Very handsome looking machine, and it sounds lovely - haven't had the chance to play an archtop through it, but the EQ is such that I'm certain you could dial in a serviceable tone... ~$370... dig it!

Thanks I'll check into that. I was thinking of a roland cube or a fender blues Jr

Look at the Quilter Aviator 8. Small, lightweight, powerful with two independent channels. The Aux input for channel 1 is essentially a neutral PA that you can plug anything into with the proper preamp. So, you have one channel for acoustic and the 2nd channel for electric, which sounds very good with a jazz box plugged in. Lots of videos out there.
