I guess It would be my Taylor 512e with Cedar top and Mahogany back and sides. It is warm, woody and articulate. But I still love my Martin 0-18!

2016 X-braced 612ce 12 fret.
Sweet, melodic, and balanced.

PRS Angelus USA, Spruce over Cocobolo - just amazing. One of the early ones, with the Steve Fischer label on the inside and the high-modulus carbon fiber neck reinforcement. So sad those didn't catch on enough and now you can only get SE or Private Stock.

Goodall Classical. It's also the most comfortable guitar for me to play.

Judging sound is all so subjective... every guitar brings it own to the game. They all sound good at certain times to me.

It really depends on what I am playing. Most songs/tunings go with a particular guitar. That being said the Rainsong is the Jack of all trades and master of few. The two Breedloves and the Furch are mostly for fingerstyle living in different tunings (SC-20 standard D to d with medium strings), Oregon standard tuning E to e, Furch Open C, and other dropped tuning. The two Yairis are strummers but very different and then there are the two odd one offs - Baritone and 12 string which have their own place.

My best-sounding guitar? Whichever one is being played in emphasis of its best sonic ability.

I have two guitars, a Seagull S6 dread and an Eastman E1OM. Some days, one of them sounds better. On other days, it's the other one that sounds best.

Seriously, though, the Seagull is usually the better sounding of the two but the Eastman is more comfortable to play.

With mine I really could not pick one. I have three acoustics two 6 strings, which are totally "separate but equal" and a 12 string which of course exists in a "parallel universe" tone wise .

My McIlroy tone is intoxicating to me. The Cedar/walnut combo is a favorite.

I've got a couple of Custom Shop Martins as my clutch right now. They each have their own strengths...but the OM I just got is probably the best guitar I've ever owned. It dang sure puts a huge damper on the GAS problem for sure.

I'm mostly working with chiffordable instruments at the moment.... but its kind of a three way tie.

Hohner EBDG- Guitar sounds much nicer than it should for the price. Loudest acoustic I've ever played. Rich, but not overwhelming bass. Clear midrange and top end.

Orangewood Oliver Mahogany: Very sweet sounding guitar, started using it with DADGAD tuning, and the guitar really seemed to be at home with it. Some fret buzz on higher frets, unfortunate reality of cheap guitars, but fixable.

Yamaha LS-TA: My original take on the guitar was that it was crazy bright, but after being played in is more balanced. Has a more "complex" sound than the other two...easier to hear the overtones. I ordered the Yamaha FSX5 based on my experience with the LS-TA.

Saving up for a Collings OM2H.... got my hands on one a while back.... dream guitar. I like what I got.... but appreciate that there are much better.
