Default Wrote this song for my girlfriend’s upcoming birthday

I plan on sending it to her this week. I am not great with recording, but trying to get better. Using a Tascam DP008EX digital 8 track using the built in mics. It’s funny how much time goes into nitpicking over every little detail. I may go back and rerecord a couple parts but this may be as good as it gets. Any feedback or advice would be very welcome. I want to learn.

That's a nice piece with some sweet melodies. The first piano part seemed a bit choppy in places and could be smoothed out a bit; it's much smoother when it repeats later in the song.

Overall though, it's very nice. I like it.

Thank you very much! I redid the first piano part to smooth it out a bit. I think it sounds much better now, so thanks for the advice!
