Default SOLD! - Northwood M70-000 (2017)

Up for sale is a gently used Northwood M70-000 guitar. I am the original owner and purchased it new from Shoreline Music not quite one year ago (June 2017). I had it professionally set up with a K&K pickup installed shortly after purchasing it. It has been kept in my smoke-free, properly humidified music room since it’s purchase.

I made an effort to show 3 very small dings (not visible unless you get the light to shine on them just right). I would say this guitar is in 9.5/10 condition.

The action is 3/32” at the low E 12th fret. It has just been restrung with D’Addario EJ16 PB Lights.

The quality of the workmanship is that of a high end boutique guitar and its understated, woody aesthetic is beautiful – not to mention the sweet aroma of cedar from the purfling inside.

From the Northwood website: A similar body to the OM, the 14 fret OOO has a deeper body front to back and a 24.9" scale length to give this guitar a slinkier feel with great bottom-end.

Here’s the video from Shoreline Music:

Northwood (John) makes fantastic guitars. These are great sounding!!! Good price too. Good luck with the sale.

..... I'll echo that! It always amazes me how under-appreciated these babies are when they come up for sale. All the best!!

Thanks for the feedback. I definitely agree! This Northwood has a wonderful full bass and volume for it's size.. but also great treble clarity. I never thought I'd let it go but finance dictate otherwise.

Here's a pic of the string spacing at the bridge. Hope it's informative enough:

Wink Never played a Northwood...

yet would love to! The headstock on this thing is amazing! The heavier the headstock, the better balance on the tone. Sorry for adding some engineering to this, but it’s true. GLWTS and this must be a fine Northwood. Thx, JD

I love jumping in on a Northwood thread. While I haven't played any of the super high end makers, when compared to any number of the well known small shops and big name brands, my deep-bodied Northwood 000 is the best guitar I've ever played. The world would be a better place with more Northwoods in it
