2017 Martin OM-28 Natural (NO LONGER AVAILABLE!)
Here is my pampered, and ready-to-play 2017 Martin OM-28...This as nice a specimen as I've ever seen. I don't believe any guitar that's been played is "mint"...but this one is, I believe in excellent-plus condition. No dents, scratches or damage. There are very light pick swirls on the pickguard but that's really all I can see.
I obtained this guitar from the first owner who was a Nashville studio musician and performer...so the action was LOW, like Stratocaster-low. So, I've very recently replaced the bridge with a Bob Colosi bone bridge and the bridge pins with Colosi bone pieces as well. The guitar is fresh off a pro-setup by a local tech, and the intonation is perfect. It has fresh D'Adarrio light strings on it too. An L.R. Baggs pickup has also been added by the original owner. Sounds great! It has a wonderful tone and projects like a Martin should. (Sorry about "sideways" pics (don't know how to correct)...and crummy pics at that! The little squiggly "line" you see on the lower front and lower-right on the back is something that landed on the iPhone camera screen...NOT a mark on the guitar. Mid-week bump.
Oh yeah...these pics were taken prior to the installation of the Colosi bits, so if the saddle looks to be super-duper thin...it's because it was, but it isn't any more. Last edited by TDavis; 04-25-2018 at 02:01 PM. |
