Default Traditional Dreadnought for Healdsburg

I've gone over to the D side. This Martinesque offering is so traditional it does not have an adjustable truss rod. Instead it has triple carbon fiber rods that have maintained relief at a perfect .006". OK, carbon fiber is not so traditional. But the rest is: 25.4" scale, 1-3/4" nut, 2-1/4" string spacing (what pre-war Martin dreads had), herringbone purfling, Waverly butterbean tuners. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Quartersawn "Church Bell" cocobolo back and sides, Adirondack spruce top. Double arched deluxe hard case.

OK, the side purflings, bound fretboard, and boxed end graft are not found on Style 28 Martins. Neither is the brass and cocobolo strap button. Nor the hadnmade herringbone back stripe. Oh, well. I gotta be me.

Loud, balanced, strong treble fundamentals up the neck, deep sustain in the bass. Banjos will cringe in fear.

She's a beauty, Howard. I'm starting to understand why so many folks want to go to Healdsburg. Looks like it's the place to be.

I can’t recall ever seeing a Dreadnought in Cocobolo. I’ll bet it sounds wonderful. This is certainly not your typical custom offering, if there is such a thing. Nice.

Nice. Did you create the Herringbone for the back strip? How else is it made but by hand?

OK, this guitar makes me want to buy a ticket to Healdsburg.

Mr. Klepper, I admire your work and if I didn't have college to pay for, I would be on your wait list.

on a side note, do resources allow for a pernambuco dreadnought? and does this guitar have the carbon fiber triangulating struts supporting the neck?
