Talking Shout out to Thalia capo customer support

I own six Thalia capos (one for each guitar) and recently a screw popped out of one, messing up the tension. Could not find where the screw should go (must be internal) so I emailed customer support asking if I could send it in for repair.

After examining the photo I sent they said it could not be repaired but offered to send me a brand new one! A big thank you to Thalia for making things right.

It is great to be able to support companies with wonderful customer support. Thanks for sharing your good experience, Paul. Besides, you have been a loyal ambassador for their brand.

Best,
Jayne

Good to know. As the owner of 5 Thalias, I've never experienced any failures, but feel better that it will be quickly addressed if I do run into an issue. As a side note, I had picked up a set of their teflon inserts with one of my purchases (no idea which one) some months back and I've recently put them on a couple of my regular players and I really like how they work. It seems to make the capo tone very consistent regardless of where its placed behind the fret.

You should try their new octavetouch inserts. It keeps the strings in tune better up and down the neck.

I didn't have any damage to mine, but they were amazing at helping resolve issues with the inserts... and actually ended up sending me extra inserts.

I've got a pretty good collection of capos now, and while most are quite good I have to say that I think the Thalia seems to keep the most body in the sound and probably the easiest to get on and off and store (on the nut, when needed quickly).
