I have a question about the looper. I've read elsewhere that there is an issue with it, in that when you stop the loop and restart, the looper automatically goes into record mode. This sounds a little strange, but could someone confirm to me that this is not the case?
And re the comments about the looper not having a volume control, can I assume that the loop volume is automatically set at the output volume of the pedal, so there is no increase or drop in volume when looping?
Many thanks for any help you can give me on this.
No problem with stopping and restarting the loop. I notice the loop volume is a little louder so I would use the boost when soloing over the loop.

Thanks for that, I appreciate it. So just to clarify, when stopping and restarting, it goes into play mode, not record mode, so you can play along with it. And then, if you want to record on top of it, you can also do that presumable with another hit of the button? Like every other looper I've seen!
Thanks again.

I usually just record a single loop and play it back but I’ll sit with it in the next couple of days and double check the overdub.

Start flat. I add a tad of bass using
the outer ring knobbie. Make sure you
set your inbound gain signal to flash on
transients.

The outer ring chooses the frequency and the inside knob boosts or cuts it.
I don't understand how you are adding bass with just the outer ring?

How I use it:
Bass and Mid: Turn the inner knob way up, scan frequencies by turning outer ring and find ringing/boominess, then turn down outer ring to eliminate/lessen frequency.

Hi: I use in opposite way by locating area to enhance.

And theoretically you should always start at 12:00 as every venue, set-up area is unique. But I find myself basically having standard settings for each instrument that remains roughly the same.

That's helpful...Thanks! Any reason why you choose to cut lows and mids and boost highs? Do you play solo or in a band? I play solo, so I want a broad spectrum of sound.

I mostly play solo but often will do duos and trios. I always cut my bass playing with a bass player. I try not to cut my mids in a duo or trio to maintain its presence. Solo in a smaller venue or where I’m close to my sound system usually requires me to lower the ringing in my mids and boominess in my bass. I notice the mud comes from the mids/lows.

Philly112: last night at my gig I recorded a loop, played it, stopped it, played it again later in the song, then hit play and recorded an overdub, then played that (the rhythm and overdub)—-all was fine.

Thanks a lot for that. I appreciate it, sounds like it works exactly like it should!
