Holy cow that Collings! It's amazing what the years did to really open it up! The depth of sound, the low end which is more pronounced than some of their new builds I've played...that Collings seems to have both the renowned precise sound of a new Collings combined with a bit of that vintage tone in older Martins. I've only owned one Collings (since moved on) but that one is one I'd be sorely tempted to add.

Wow on that Wilborn. I'd seen his YT videos but being a small builder I never thought I'd get a chance to ever play one. I'm going to try and make a trip down there some time soon (UCLA being in the tournament kind of kills my Saturdays for however long they play).
