Default What’s Your Favorite Ice Cream?

Enough about picks and capos. Summer is almost gone and temperatures will be starting to subside. So let’s get down to more important issues. What’s your favorite ice cream?

For me it’s always chocolate or some variant.

To steal a term from Pogo, Chonklit...especially Dutch Chocolate Almond...I s'pose sherbet doesn't count?

But, what's the recommended humidity level in my freezer for maximum flavor? Sorry, couldn't resist...

Well down here summer is on it's way & looking forward to cool summer treats.

I put down "other". For me that means Rum'n'Raisin.

Hmm... that's tough. Probably butter pecan with caramel. Then peach. Then cookies 'n cream.

OK, went along - as I only recent;y discovered that I could eat ice cream again (eating/swallowing has been a problematic process since my cancer treatment in 2017).

To me ice cream is only ever a side dish to a fruit pie or some such, as an alternative option to custard, so, yer basic vanilla is all I would ever want.

Plain vanilla, not always alone though. Crushed cashews, real maple syrup and a splash of brandy or rum.

Vanilla is the most versatile...the absolute, far and away, miles ahead of the competition most vanilla-tasting ice cream I've ever tasted was made by Hershey...I had some about 25 years ago and can still remember how good it was...

Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia with Bask in Robbins mint chocolate chip in close second then followed by Hagan Das coffee... I love gellato and custard ice cream too!

Chocolate chip. Mint chocolate chip if I'm taking a trip to the wild side.
