I tried this strange new tuning, EADGBE

This one is played on the J-45. (capo 2)

Yes, I think I'm in a good spot with my two LDCs and Zoom H5. This tune was recorded with just the Zoom, but in a smaller room than where I usually record.

That was extremely cool.

Very nice for just those 2 Zoom mics. I hear just this tiny shimmer (for lack of a better word) in the recording. Does that result from the tuning, the room, or?

Enjoy your ReverbNation page. I just learned Mark Hanson’s arrangement of Foggy Dew and will probably look for the arrangement you did. I’ve really embraced Celtic music since going to Swanannoa this year and taking classes with Tony McManus and Clive Carrol. The music is so beautiful and very enjoyable to learn and play.
