I love my Silver Sky. Everything about it is way better than any of the other 3 strats I've owned. The neck is killer and the pups are really great. Now there are used ones available out there for $1500-$1600 so I'd go that route. You can easily flip out of it if you don't like it. Some dealers will even get close to that price on a new one over the phone.

I went to music festival over the weekend and they had a cool guitar tent set up. A few different brands were represented including PRS. It was pretty cool, go in, pick up anything and play it. I was kind of surprised that PRS had several $2000+ guitars there with little to no staff looking over them. The great thing though is it allowed me to play a Silver Sky. I've been waiting. I'm not sure if the it's the same neck on all or most of them but the neck is big and like a baseball bat. No resemblance to my wide-thin PRS neck, as I expected. I'll say, I liked everything about it except for the neck.
