Default Mouth of Seneca

From another front yard social distancing jam. I wrote this about a year ago, then several months later realized that its embarrassingly similar to a Grisman and Rice tune called Morning Dew...ooops!

Outstanding! That was lots of fun and very well done. Clearly, you need to post some more of these sessions.

This was terrific, Keith. Believe it or not, I independently found this on YouTube the other day and sent it to a buddy of mine and said we should do something like this. Could never match your playing though. Post more!

Wow...thanks y'all for those kind words! Davey (the mandolin player) is waiting for the results of a covid test (one of the kids may have been exposed by a coworker), so we can't get together at the moment, but he should have the results in a day or so. I have my fingers crossed that the test will come back negative!

I will definitely post more! Should I post them here or in new threads?

Hi Keith,

I really hope Davey gets back a negative. I look forward to hearing some more. You can post new sessions in either, but I'd suggest a new thread. Otherwise, you might need to retitle this one.

You guys got some drive goin' on there, thanks for putting up the clip.

You seem to have a nice quiet neighborhood, we never have a moment without planes flying over, dogs barking, or traffic noise.

Oh, and how about credits for the camera person? Somebody did a nice job of capture.

Fran

Good point! My wife was the camera person. She's also a really good percussionist and vocalist. She definitely did a great job with the camera. So...thanks to her!!

The neighborhood is reasonably quiet other than the occasional truck driving by. We're on a cul-de-sac, which also helps. It's definitely been quieter than normal since covid became a thing.

I have to say that I'm reasonably impressed with how good a result we got with the phone too!
