Default switched out my computer sound system

Working from home every other week. Had been using Logitech computer speakers with subwoofer someone gave me. Thought they sounded pretty good but would tire of listening after a while. Then I borrowed back from my son the Bose 301's I bought years ago. I have a nice Yamaha reciever so put those together on my desktop at home and without totally paying attention ended up listening to it all day. I started off with mandolin music, which I like, but not usually all day, however, with this set up it was great. Jazz and Bluegrass both. Anyway, quite a pleasant revelation at the sound improvement. Wondering when I eventually have to give them back what I should buy instead? What would be a similar Klipsch? or other brand?

For studio monitors there are a lot of great options.

Lots of folks like the Kali powered monitors.

I have the JBL 306P.

Got a little more money? Maybe some Focal Alpha 50s.

Hard to make a bad choice these days IMO.

Kali LP8 owner here. (Former JBL owner).

Hard to beat the Kalis, I've owned them for a few years and have no desire to buy anything else.

I have powered KRK Rokit 8's. They sound pretty good. A little boomy loud. Great fpor playing electric guitar backing tracks too! SImple plug into a headphone jack.

Also this is my third pair. Now one of them has a leaky capacitor network like my first 5" pair some 8 years ago. They repaired that one for free. Some minor yet annoying crackling, intermittently.

I had KLIPSCH 15 years ago. They're not as good as KRK.

I hear Yamaha reference monitors (flat frequency responce for recording mixes) are a good way to go without spending a lot.

Default I looked into Kali 8's.....

Kali Audio IN-8 V2

I see the Kali 8's have a new design with 12db less background noise.
These look interesting.
