Looks like he/she's waiting for you to drop some food that you're eating!

They belong to this guy/gal one of the two (we think are mated pair) that regularly come by and get a little bowl of dog food

It has been some days since we last got any new snow. Here and there, there's some remaining where it piled up during ploughing. This is behind a tennis court that serves as skating ice during winters:

The puppy loves the stuff. I never seem to catch a photo while he is rolling or sliding on it.

All that hair is the face
Well, the nose is there, too, in this pic. I rarely see the eyes. I do see the teeth most days when he gets grumpy for being hungry or tired, much like little children

The hair on these usually grows longer and coarser when they grow up, and goes into a sort of hippie style. Tying up the hair is a common practice, then, so they can see something.

edit: the face was much easier to see 5 months ago:

Well occasionally they do get some home made bread pieces (seriously).
The fox bowl is on the lower deck, the marten bowl is on the upper deck,,helps keep the partisan bickering out of the situation

I'm on the second leg of a cross country trip at the moment.

I woke up in Buffalo, Wyoming last Tuesday and my car was covered in snow.

I live in Florida. I was not prepared for all that white stuff...

The good news about snow in April is it melts quickly. We once had 6" of snow on Mother's day. I remember it on the lilacs. It was gone in a couple of days. I like snow, but not in April, and surely not in May. I have a friend in Idaho, and she says it can snow in any month there.

April 21 ... a bit of white stuff this morning. First snow in several weeks as it has been very pleasant so far. I suspect this is snow's last call for this season.

Ugh, too late in the season for snow. I had a 360 mile drive today and it went from 60F yesterday to 32F today and hit wet snow and hail multiple times on the drive. Windy too.

Long hike this morning. The snow stayed over on the west side of the valley.
