Thanks, I feel privileged to own a second of her instruments. They may not look fancy, but produce a wonderful sound.
Here are a few more photos showing the back, and the wenge used in the long neck:

My younger daughter heard it, held it, and immediately said "I got dibs on it"! LOL. It has a very even singing sound, probably due to the size and ovengkol?

Andy - Congrats!! That's quite the birthday present. Such a beautiful looking guitar.

Is Cornelia Traudt a UK luthier?

She's German and lives in the village of St Julien in Germany.
I first heard one her guitars played by David Qualey (his version of Scarborough Fair), investigated, and ended up owning the guitar David played on his CD unBEATabLE songs

Cornelia can be seen on youtube in her small workshop. She designs and builds each guitar herself, they take about a month to construct, and they are, as one would expect from a Maitre Luthier simply perfect to look at.

Incidentally, my favourite photo is the one of her selecting wood, hands on from start to shellac.

hey Dru
She seems to have studied at the Mittenwald "school" of violin making.
