Default Los Angeles resonator repair?

I have a 1933 National Duolian that needs a neck reset. Is there anyone in LA who does that kind of work? I’m hesitant to take it to National Resophonic as I’ve heard iffy things about their vintage repair.

Not sure what you’ve heard around their vintage work, but I don’t know of a shop i’d trust more with a National, new or old. They did a neck swap for me a couple years ago (changing NRP polychrome tricone to a baritone) and the work was of outstanding quality and quick turnaround time. Could not be more pleased.

I would think if McCabe's couldn't help you, they would guide you in the right direction.

I believe Marc Schoenberg is in that area. He did a great job on a tricone that I sent to him.
