Highlander IP2 mic
Recently acquired a guitar with a Highlander IP2 installed however it didn’t come with the internal mic addition. Anyone looking to part with just the mic please reach out, thanks!

Many mics will work, and some may be "better" than the stock Highlander. I've been using the Audix L5O, which is readily available for $199 new. Another popular choice is the DPA 4060 or 4061. These are $500 new, but I've always got them on ebay, and have paid as little as $50, tho that may take patience for some to come up at a good price.
Basically, any lavelier-type mic will generally work. The Sennheiser ME2 is another nice one, runs about $125, I think, new. People used to use a Radio Shack lapel mic, that was like $19, and there are still lots of lav mics out there in that price range, but I can't vouch for any in particular. Generally, you're just trying to add a little air to the sound, and even an inexpensive mic will do that. Differences in quality tend to get lost when it's just a small addition to another pickup. I think I have some old b-band mics that I don't use lying around. Been a while, but I think they worked ok. Let me know if you'd like one.
