Solo tabs
I’m a low intermediate flatpick player. I play solo. I have a list of songs I would like to learn and would like to learn, and I’d like to find arrangements for. I’m looking for suggestions where to look. Custom written puts them way out of range for me.
I would appreciate ant ideas. |

Sorry I may not provide the kind of help you are looking for- I read notation, not tab and either learn from that (the best way) or by ear (works, OK). Once I have the melody firmly in my mind, I begin to vary my playing some, with the idea of working out my own arrangement. To me, it's far more important to have my own thing going than to do it "right" (meaning like someone else). Not everyone thinks this way.

A Good Option You Might Consider:
I've been learning from Harold Streeter's fingerstyle tabs and truly enjoying the high quality of his arrangements. He is an outstanding musician.
He sells fingerstyle, travis picking and flat picking tabs for guitar, as well as tabs for banjo and mandolin, on this website: http://www.lewalt.com/index.html |
