Default Help dating/ identifying my archtop

Firstly I'm new to forum, so hello everyone. I picked up my first archtop a few days ago, it headstock logo is long gone but after some cleaning I thought maybe there's enough detail to possibly date or even come up with a make or model.. I know the tuners are kluson and I've only found four pictures of guitar with this style of cover. The inside of the tuners says kluson Chicago with a patent number, the scale length is 25 3/4. I've never seen a guitar with three dot makers on the 5th and 12th frets.. I've email kluson hoping maybe they could give me a ballpark date on the tuners but no luck. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out some of the answers.. Thanks in advance

Based on what I can see in the pictures (a few more would be helpful) I'll date your guitar as mid-1930's, probably made by Harmony or Kay for another vendor (jobber, mail-order house, retail chain); as I said, some more pictures - particularly of the headstock (missing logo or not) - would provide more to go on...

I emailed George Gruhn of Gruhn guitars and he said its circa 1940s Kay made in Chicago. Worth 500 not bad for a 90 score!

Like most of those pre truss rod Kays you may need a neck reset if it hasn't been done before. Then you will be closer to the 500. Do it. I have one from about that time that has already been reset. Very fun guitar. It's the first thing I reach for l.

Yea I've been researching a neck reset. It plays great, I've played it everyday since I got it but I noticed I can fit a playing card between the bottom of the heal and body..
