I wasn’t ready for the sound that came out of that monster when Vince did that first run! I’ll be playing those for sure.

Played my friends reimagined HD28 and it was amazing! I also played his 1950’s HD28 and WOW, WOW, WOW, what a guitar! I’m definitely going after an HD28 now and know exactly what I’m looking for. The neck is different from what I’m used to, but wasn’t uncomfortable. I can’t wait to join the Martin family!

Go with a Martin, any model. I'd love to have a Gibson J-45 or J-200 but that's it. I never played a big sounding Taylor. I don't get it.

50 huh?
I think I have underwear that old somewhere,
Well you deserve it.

Have always been a fan of the fit and sound of the
OMC Model. If you plan on plugging in,
The mahogany, Cherry, Sycamore, Rosewood are all nice,
Really depends on your tonal wants and needs.
If your playing unplugged, I would go with Rosewood.

I'm definitely going to buy during my 50th year on earth and a reimagined HD-28 is the one I want.

Well I went to a shop to try out some HD-28’s. Kept A/Bing a few and had one picked out that was a monster and had a KILLER price on it. Saw this one hanging on the wall and thought I’ll just play it since I’m here. I’m strummed a big open E chord and my wife who’d been sitting across from me the whole time got this look of shock on her face and said that’s Better than all the ones you’ve played! She stood up and turned around and I switched back and forth between them all and She could pick my new one out every time and said you’re taking that one home. She bought it for me for my 50th BD/20th anniversary present.

I couldn’t turn down his price! We got it at Music Outlet in Sevierville, Tn. Best selection of Martin guitars I’ve seen and wants to help people get the guitar they want. I also sold my 810 Saturday and got back exactly what I had In it, so my budget was higher. I had the HD28 money in cash in my pocket and my wife wouldn’t let me leave without it and paid the rest. I wasn’t gonna pay the extra money and she said I deserved it and now it’s MINE! Since she helped buy it, this one is my last guitar and a very sentimental one to me, as well!
