Repair recommendation - Flamenco
Hello Folks,
My mother has a very nice Flamenco in need of repair. I believe it is a Conde Hermanos ca 2000. Now I have warned her about cats, but being the rebellious sort that she is (even at 76) she left it on a stand. Her cat took exception to this guitar am knocked it to the floor. My father (a classical guitarist himself) showed it to me tonight because the high Evkep slipping out of its knot as it approached pitch. Curious, I flipped it over and...yeah - oh boy. A 4 inch split in the back (not on the seam) and there is separation at the seam of the binding near the butt end. It’s too nice a guitar not to properly fix properly. We are in the greater Chicago, Milwaukee, Rockford IL area. Prefer to find an excellent luthier in the area whose focus is classical/flamenco guitars. Any recommendations? Thanks

As a start, I'd check with Richard or Marshall Brune- they're fairly near to you.
