Default Fishman Comes Through Big Time

I purchased the original fishstick, the SoloAmp, the year it first appeared. It actually was labeled SoloAmp and not SA220. It served me well for years and I always received compliments on the sound. However, for the last few years, what I recently discovered was an open pots issue made the unit unreliable. I repeatedly had to open it up for cleaning to get one of the channels to work at all.

Finally realizing I needed to look for a replacement or at least a backup, as part of my search for options I contacted Fishman, telling them of my issue and asking if I could purchase just the 330x amp without the bag and stand. The response from Derek was that they had B-Stock SA 330x units that they used for just my situation and offered to send me one in exchange for me sending them my malfunctioning SA and paying a $50 repair fee.

Well, yesterday, three weeks to the day that they got my old amp, I received the B-Stock 330x. It sounds great and I can't find a blemish on it. I'll still be looking for a backup (I'm considering EAE and QSC offerings) but getting this upgrade at such a small cost was fantastic. As many have said here before, Fishman's customer service is simply outstanding.

You'd have to look really hard to find a company with better customer service than Fishman. I have been very impressed with them.

Glad it worked out for you. Fishman has come through for me on a couple of occasions. Fantastic customer service.

In the shape my SoloAmp was in, I couldn't have sold sold it ... at least not in good conscience.
