Default NGD- Warmoth Jazzmaster

Finally got my Warmoth Jazzmaster put together and I’m pleased. It’s a sort of a strange amalgamation, but my plan is to use it as my fingerpicking electric. It’s got a 1.75” nut, a nice chunky neck, and Dimarzio Areas. So far so good!

Fantastic! Did you get anything else from Warmoth other than the neck and body? Did you do the wiring yourself?

Given the beautiful top, I'd opt for a smaller pickguard (upper horn) even if there are screw holes in the top. That would be unique.

Thanks guys, it’s definitely a pretty unique guitar and I’m still getting to know it - still gotta settle on strings and such. I’ve got tens on it now - the new Daddario XS - but may go to 11s for drop tunings.

I got the bridge and vibrato from Warmoth too. Researched Jazzmaster bridges and theirs actually seemed like the best option - it allows individual string height adjustment and avoids some other common problems.

I did let my local guy put it together for me - I’ve only done a little soldering before and didn’t want to risk screwing anything up.

Looks like a great player. Now that you've had some more time to play it, do you think you'll make any further tweaks to it?

Very nice. I have a Warmoth Jazzmaster too, although mine is a bit more traditional.
