I'll start with my Eastman E8D. This is just a killer dreadnaught with a loud sound, growly bass, crisp trebles and great sustain. I changed the pickquard to a custom Tor-Tis from Borderbull@UMGF forum.

I have two, an E8OM (EIR and Sitka spruce) and an AC512M (all Hog, and very figured, fully RW bound). Sorry no pic's. They are both spectacular guitars. They each have a sound of their own. I decided to down size a couple of guitars last year from dreadnought size to OM's. And wanted something with an ebony finger board and bridge that would provide tonal variation, wider neck with a shorter scale length and a smoother texture of the fingerboard. Both fill the bill in that department. The great plus is, that there was no sacrifice in tone or how loud I can play them you can really dig in. The workmanship is every bit as good as the American made guitar models for about 1/3 the price and I do own a Martin. Extremely happy with these two.

ac420b i think that was it. it was adi/eir, with a sunburst finish. it was the precursor to the e20d (but with the burst finish)

oh, and i had one of their solid top/laminate back and side models. the ac220, or 122, or something like that. i could never get the model number straight. it had a great, earthy, gibson like tone to it, but the satin finish did it in for me. all that swishy sound was tough, when trying to record. it was mainly purchased as a beach/camp beater, but it was a very nice sounding guitar.

guitars--like the women in my life--come, and they go. you love them while you have them, and if they were good, you miss them when they're gone. even if they just HAD to go.

I fell for Eastman guitars about three years ago when I first discovered them at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.

Now I own two of their parlors a Sunburst 12 fret, pyramid bridge Adi/Mahogany and a Natural top Herringbone bound Adi/Rosewood.

The fit and finish on either of them is very good. A pretty high level of attention to detail ( I hate so say "for the price" ) but man they play well and sound nice.

I thing that right now they are the best value for your money if you are looking in the sub two thousand new market.

I have a 2008 AC510. I bought it used off Craigslist last Fall and I love it. Pictures to follow. It has a very nice, warm sound, with better bass than some dreadnoughts. Nice and light weight. The sound reminds me of very old Martin guitars.

Just put down my E10SS. AC508M in the stable, too. Can't imagine selling either unless necessity calls for it. Great guitars.

Besides the hundred that I tested at the store, I personally own one of our custom E15SS models, and like all their guitars, it's killer. My next Eastman will be an archtop, but not sure which.

I am using an E6om as my main acoustic. It fits my body proportions very well, and it sounds wonderful.

This is my Eastman AC322ce, minus the "e". I asked Eastman to send me a regular saddle because I wanted to remove the pickup. They kindly obliged and now this guitar is straight acoustic. I've really bonded with this guitar. Its my wife's favorite out of the guitars I own. She always tells me how much she likes the way it sounds. Its a really good instrument.

My first Eastman, a sunburst E20P. i'm Transcribing and playing Robbie basho's Variations on easter and this little parlour fitted with my trusty Thomastik strings is giving me the exact tone i want. What a truly remarkable tone this little guitar has, its proving to be a firm favourite with my far more expensive guitars struggling for play time. This will not be my last small bodied eastman.

I own two Eastmans; an ET5-SS and an E10-SS. I was so taken by the E10-SS after about two months of owning it that I sent it off to Mike Snider to personalize it with some inlays. I don't know how to isolate the great pictures he took and posted on his blog but if you go here:

you can see the steps he took to do the work and the finished product (which are more professional than any pic I could ever take). This guitar continues to get better with age and I sometimes consider selling off all of my other guitars and keeping it as my sole guitar. And then I come to my senses. I have nothing but great things to say about my Eastmans.

I recently picked-up a used Eastman E10P to be my new "couch guitar".

Wow! This guitar is SO MUCH MORE!

What an exceptional fit and finish on this guitar. Incredible attention to detail. Very light build too. Even more impressive, the tone of this guitar is remarkable! I expected it to sound great fingerpicked (which it does), but the volume, power, tone and headroom flatpicked and strummed are exceptional. This is a remarkably versatile guitar for its body size.

Overall quality (woods, build, tone, playability) is simply off the charts...I'm super pleased with it!

Oh, and I can't believe how loud this thing is with 12s on it! I expect I'll try 11's next (maybe Silk-and-Bronze) which will make the playability even yummier!
