Default Carl Martin CM-ACGIG Acoustic GiG

Anyone own one of these? If yes, please let us know your thoughts on the pros and cons of it. Carl Martin makes some really great pedals. I’ve had my eye on the T-Rex Soulmate Acoustic for a while too. I have a nice acoustic pedalboard, but these all inclusive units look very convenient.

I haven't used one of those, but am interested in what you find out. Carl Martin makes nice gear. I have a couple CM pedals and they're great.

Yeah I have a couple of their pedals too and they’re are definitely keepers.

Why does this pedal get virtually no discussion anywhere? Seems a nice alternative to the Boss AD10 or Play Acoustic or Soulmate Acoustic.

Because most people only buy what Guitar Center stocks.

Although I've never used these "Fly Rig" combo units. Most of my pedals on my electric board are Carl Martin.

O/D's, Chorus, Delay Echo, Compressor, Clean Boost, Combinator switching pedal.

I used multi fx digital pedals for years. When I went back to analogue, I did allot of research before buying.

I know people who have thousands of dollars spent on pedals that just sit in a box.

I like to use what I spend my money on.

My local mom & pop carries these pedals and I happened to be in one day when someone was trying one out. It did sound quite impressive and it's easier to carry around than a pedalboard. I would definitely scrap a full pedalboard to use one of these but I really don't use outboard effects with my acoustic, only a Para DI when needed.

Just realized this doesn't have chorus.

Why would you make a multi effects unit that omits one of the most used acoustic effects? Doesn't make a lot of sense. I know a lot of people don't use chorus on their acoustic and reverb and delay are more useful/necessary effects, but every other acoustic multi effects pedal has chorus.
