I just go slowly and try different angles if I get a stubborn one. I seen some people recommend devices that supposedly make it easier.

Those little plastic string winders with the notch on the end work very well.

I also generally use the notch in the string winder to gently lever them out, but if there’s ever a pin that’s seriously stuck I’ll reach inside through the sound hole and push it out from the bottom.

Use one of these:

The notch in the end is for levering out pins.

I gently and carefully use dikes to lever them out, if I can't pull them with my fingers. Use a finger as the fulcrum, don't squeeze too hard, and don't let the other end hit the top.

Push up from inside the sound hole.

The question is why are they difficult to remove? Properly fit pins, in good condition that haven’t been forced into the holes should be easily removed. Do the pins fit properly - the right size for the holes with matching tapers? Are the pins bent, which is common in inexpensive plastic pins? Are you pressing them into the holes too forcefully - if they fit properly they need only a small force to seat?

If I encounter a stuck pin, I usually push it out from inside with my hand in the sound hole. If really stuck, I’ll use needle fret nippers to lever the pin up, rather than grabbing the head of the pin. However any of the plastic devices for lifting bridge pin will work, but shouldn’t be necessary, as I stated above.

With plastic products for pulling pins I have a little bad experiences.
Will the pins be lubricated with some oil?

You must remember to pull straight out so as not to break the pin, and if you are having trouble levering with the string winder, put something under the fulcrum point. Before string winders I used a pair of pliers with taped jaws, pulling straight out with a slight twisting motion. As for lubrication, perhaps a small amount of powdered graphite would be preferable to oil.

A second for the “Dykes”.... (Side-cutting pliers)
The one side is smooth, and curved... You just position the pliers so the smooth-curved edge is against the bridge and apply just enough pressure to hold on to the pin... Levering it out.
This is the method used by the technician at “Frets.Com”.....
