How many Bourgeois guitars are here on the forum?
With Bourgeois just barely into the 8000's, numbers-wise, of guitars built. I wonder how many are owned by AGF members. I'm loving mine more and more every time I play it. If you own a Bourgeois, check in here and let us know what you have. Mine is #6681. A short-scale, slope shoulder custom dread. Adirondack top and Fiddleback mahogany back and sides.

I could be wrong, but probably the folks who build these guitars are not members.

Not looking for builders, I’m just curious as to how many of those 8000 are owned by AGF members. I know there are probably several hundreds sitting in guitar shops.

I've got #006003
It's an OMS Vintage Adirondack over Rosewood 12 fret slothead. Deep deep sounding... |

I was starting with subtraction instead of addition. Otherwise there might be upwards of 4000 responses.

No worries. It would be pretty awesome if over 4000 were owned by our members!!

Have you checked how many were sold by members, so in addition to a poll of current owners you can also get an idea of former owners by a search in the classifieds.

Put me down for #4284 and #6158.
PS: I understand from reliable sources that Dana is making a limited run of guitars from "phenomenal sounding" Black Walnut.

I bought my first Bourgeois in 2007 and it is the Vintage OM with Adirondack top, rosewood back and sides and the pyramid bridge. They no longer make them with the pyramid bridge as standard. It is the smoothest sounding and the longest overtone producing guitar I own. Very lush and warm.

My Bourgeois is the DR-12 DS with slotted headstock, 12 fret and Redwood face with highly figured Cocobolo back and sides. Its far and away the best guitar of the bunch and I have owned a lot of guitars over my 40 years of playing.

Count me with my JOM #000032, 1993.....anybody got one older?
Also, had #5312, 00 for lots of years, but I let it go. Adirondack/Guatemalan. I think this one was recently listed here on AGF, but I was the original owner back in 2010.
