Sounds like a beauty Matt. Carolyn and the SCGC team are great to work with. What’s the expected delivery date?

Yes they are! Carolyn is always a treat to work with, as we've done MANY custom guitars for the shop over the years. I thought it was finally time to own a Santa Cruz myself, and I've always really loved the FS models, and the story behind them. I'm expecting to see it sometime this summer (hopefully early summer!).

You know, when we're young and naive we're quick to claim such things..!
The space for fine new instruments has apparently grown, but I'm not complaining.

Default SCGC FS

I bought a new FS about a year ago to tide me over while I waited for my custom OMG build. If it were my only guitar, I would consider myself lucky. I play mostly open tunings/Celtic, and it excels. Then a few JT covers, and you'd think it an Olsen. Great guitar. Great choice, Matt.

So the start date for this one was kicked back a bit because Santa Cruz was waiting for some custom purfling from a supplier for longer than expected. Nonetheless, it has started!
Red spruce braces being secured to an awfully nice looking Moon spruce top.
More updates to come...

A few pics showing the custom blue/maple headstock and fingerboard purflings - as well as the Brazilian rosewood headstock veneer, fingerboard and bindings.
I couldn't possible be any happier with how the blue/maple looks against the beautiful Brazilian!!
