I used to think 12 fret guitars looked deformed and disliked slotheads. Now I have five of them, but still think the slotheads are a pain to string.

Not really -i like what every guitar brings to the table - its all about the tone .back in '06 I got back into guitar ( after a hiatus )
and decided I didnt want a another Dread -got me a new OM28v from Trinity Guitars - Id honestly have to say I love them all -all shapes and sizes
( thou a few brands dont float my boat )

No, it doesn't grow on me.
It looks like this guitar is still growing. Before you know it, it'll sprout a branch and shed some bark.
