Default Exciting

Can't wait to get your impressions of this guitar once it gets in your hands. It sounds like everything I would like in a guitar, especially the light build weight.

Well this is one incredible guitar... I canít stop playing it. Very light, bright, and snappy.. With all the clean, clear bass you would expect from a Mahogany slope shoulder.. Iím in guitar heaven with this one.. Neck shape is so perfect for my hand and Iím so glad I went with a 13 fret neck.. The sound is so responsive due to the light weight build. Dales relic work is just outstanding... Iíll tell you, I am seriously considering ordering another in Rosewood.. But, that will have to wait..

Thanks for reporting in! Your guitar and Justonís are wonderful. With metal truss rods, they are lighter than my original, which does not have a truss rod. How can Dale built a 3.5 pound dreadnought?

Glad this guitar made it safe and sound! Iíve been following both this build and the other here from the same batch and have enjoyed the updates as well as photos Dale has posted on his Instagram feed.

Enjoy the new guitar!

Thankyou to all the folks posting on this thread, it has been great to follow the evolution of these two guitars. I canít afford a Fairbanks, but would love one if my lottery numbers come up, but I could afford a copy of Kalamazoo Gals and just ordered myself a copy.
Thanks again.

Gorgeous photos! Thanks for sharing them with us.

As you know, I love your guitar. Here's a clip of me mangling your wonderful instrument:

Love that tone, just think when that Adirondack opens up.
Lovely detailed build. Really great bursts and the nice size necks.

Ahh . . . Must be so fun to reach for one of these.
