For Sale: SCGC 00 SKYE **SOLD**

Purchased from Eddie's Guitars, this is a 2017 model. Specs are, of course, standard for the Skye and can be found here: https://santacruzguitar.com/ooskye/

When I received this guitar I didn't like the neck angle (not uncommon with SCGCs). After going back and forth with Richard Hoover, he determined that a neck reset wasn't needed but that a minimal bridge shave was the appropriate and correct way to get the geometry at the bridge the way I wanted it. This was done easily and action now sits at a tick < 3/32 at 12th fret low E with medium-high saddle, max break angle, and a lifetime of saddle adjustments, if needed. Plays effortlessly, action is compliant with great feedback in the fingers. You can hear your fingers on the strings with the lightest touch or dig deep. Tone is as deep and dark as you can get from a guitar this small - rich, airy, complex, with overtones all over the place and forever sustain. Tone is representative of what you hear in all the youtubes and reviews. These are just incredible guitars.

With the exception of one tiny string change mark on headstock, guitar is unmarked.
