Looks like good ole' mahogany is going to be quite popular this year at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival guitar show and for good reason. Its a proven and wonderful tone wood. So here is our contribution to the mix and the specs are as follows:

That's some sweet Hog! I really love this shape. It'd be the perfect kick back on the couch and play guitar.
Thanks for sharing! Joel |

Tim,
Great looking OOO. Your other Healdsburg guitars have the 'elegant' look, but I'm drawn to this one; more tradtional look but with killer wood sets and modern features. What are the body dimensions on this model?

Nice job Tim ... it looks really nice.
How did you like the Sonic Sitka? Follow-up to that, did you do more than one as I seem to remember you having some for Newport? My Sonic Sitka ended up in NYC. Anyway, nice work, I look forward to seeing it, your others and of course you and Mary in less than a week. |

Its a very versatile body size and shape. Equally at home on the couch or jamming with a house full of dreds. The Sonic Sitka was some good wood to work with and I was fortunate to be able to cherry pick these sets from Dennis' private stash that he was saving back It has the typical Sitka properties; warm, responsive, lots of headroom, etc... + it has some very cool bearclaw figure unlike the standard bearclaw that I have come to expect. It was more of a color variation in the wood rather than concentrated grain wiggle that you commonly see in Sitka bearclaw figure. Travel safe and we will see you in a week. |

very nice! i have a 000 and find as you mentioned, it will fit in anywhere, whether on the couch or in a crowd of dreads, and hold its own. A great shape for a guitar, and your aesthetic sense on this one is excellent. d |

Looking good, Tim. I think I may have a sister set to that mahogany on my David Taylor parlor. It's awesome wood.
See you next week! Kindly, Danny |

Agreed, it is some awesome sounding Hog. Its quite possible you may have a sister set because David and I likely share the same wood vendor. See you in a few days. |

This guitar is more about simple elegance which is simply elegant.
Tim's not a fan of slotted peg heads. I had to promise that I won't request this style often. But, but, but, Honey, this one needed that look.
