Default Replacing my Carvin AG300 with a QSC CP8 and mixer

As much as I love my Carvin AG300, it was getting to the point where lugging it downstairs or outside to a band practice session was making my back complain (a lot).

I had read lots of good things about the QSC CP8 and one was delivered yesterday. I set it up with my Yamaha MG10XU mixer and couldn't be happier with the results. 21 lbs of joy and much better ergonomics for carrying it.

The Carvin will be going up for sale (locally first).

Someone will get a great amp. Mine is going nowhere because I use it as a bass amp in non rock settings. But an 8" speaker works for most anything else, and your back will thank you. QSC is a great brand.

I agree. If it wasn't for the weight, there's no way in the world I would be replacing it.
