I am not part of the organization but heard about this new guitar festival and luthier showcase in August. From their web site:

"The first Wakefield Guitar Festival takes place, at the Wakefield Community Centre, August 16-18 and offers an array of activities for players, makers, and fans of steel string and classical guitars. On offer are three concerts by world-renowned guitarists Jocelyn Gould, Colin Davin, and Emma Rush, a luthier showcase featuring high-end guitar makers from Canada and beyond with instrument demos by guitarist Alex Bougie, and a selection of workshops and masterclasses.
There will be plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow guitar fans throughout the day and at our post-concert pub nights."
