Default 'Oh Darling' on my Blues King L-00

I just recorded my solo acoustic/vocal version of 'Oh Darling' by The Beatles.

I have been fiddling with the Baggs M80 in my Gibson Blues King L-00 (guitar is getting to be a bout 12 years old - must check the serial no.), and determined to get this Gibson working - just never liked the sound of the supplied undersaddle - so the poles of the M80 were touching the strings and now moved down a couple of turns.

I think the song is what the guitar is singing to me when ignoring it and playing the other floozies...

The Neumann KM184 mic for my vocal is picking up a skinny version of the guitar playing and the pickup is giving a fuller sound (also includes the bird on my roof gutter calling out all through, particularly at the end!):

Thanks Doug and Joshua!

I should have mentioned the recording is a home recording setup using my Neumann KM184 run to my Allen & Heath 4 channel mixer and guitar with Baggs M80 via Fishman Pro EQ to mixer also and via USB in stereo to my iMac/Garageband.

Thanks Reeve!

My own thing is the aim! Thanks.

And the guitar gets better every day....for a while there it was in the doldrums. Don’t know why.

Hi, I really enjoyed that - listened to it twice , and not only to hear the bird ...actually I couldn't really.
Ah, you've just started singing a lovely old Jimmy Reed number to me.

Thanks for the music.

I really like your rendition of this song BluesKing777. I’m stealing it! Revamped as a shuffle is perfect for the coffee shop crowd. Nicely done. And also, that’s a gorgeous picture of your axe and grape vine trellis! Let’s play guitar and make some vino...

Thanks Silly M, RD49 and Chickee!

I got the chords lyric from the wonderful but hard to read ‘Complete Scores Of The Beatles’ which has every note and funny noise they ever made in music/tab, most very accurate. The B’s version is in A, but my guitar is tuned down 2 steps.
