Elite Acoustics is the same company selling essentially the same amps but with fantastic digital effects and other features. I have both and am a HUGE fan!

i have one of these as well. i think your limited
as to volume. But the unit sounds fantastic. I also have the aer c60 and think the m6br8 is s much better sounding unit. especially for vocals. the aer will be much louder. I recently bought a nx10c monitor made by yorkville. this has a pole mount thru the speaker. it slides down the pole and the m6 mounts on top. This is my new 30-40 people pa rig. its small portable and sounds really good. i can add reverb externally but i am saving up to buy eae d6-8 . It has an 8 in speaker and individual ch eq and effects. in a digital format. upgradable... I've only had mine a month and haven't had a suitable gig ..The band plays a lot of big loud clubs. but i'm doing a solo concert style gig in about 10 days and going to use this setup .. can't wait.. I bought my sunburst as one of their refurb units on ebay. good deal as i wanted to get an idea of what they were offering before i commit to the d68 (800 bucks) So far so good..the little m6br8 sounds good the refurbs come with a 1yr warrentee from eae . And you can make them an offer. I got mine for 260 shipped but i don't think they offer free shipping anymore. Last edited by varmonter; 04-02-2018 at 07:03 AM. |

I wasn’t aware of that Yorkville NX10C speaker. Very cool. Do you put that on the same pole as your Sunburst Gear amp? What a great way to get more volume out of it with minimal extra equipment for a larger gig! |

the pole has to be 1 3/8 some are 1 1/2 and tapered to 1 3/8. these won't work. It's 300 watts and its coaxial (tweeter in the center) so it's small. i can run the "line out" on the m6br8 to the yorkville, there is a bit of a dsp in the yorkville . i can run a guitar and mic into two inputs on the yorkville.with volume and pretty crude eq. so there is some control but it sounds really good. also i can position them independently so sort of a line array . in larger band gigs the yorkville makes a good monitor. |

That sounds like it would work extremely well with my Elite Acoustics D6-8! Right now I am using a Bose S1 on a separate pole and together they work really well for a listening audience of 80 or less. |

How do you deal with making changes on the Sunburst Gear amp with the controls so high up?

the place i am playing has an L Shape to it the musician sets up in the 90 of the L.. my thought is to angle each speaker into the opposing part of the L. like a line array. The gig is next friday. if your in morrisville Vt stop by and do a couple of songs with me ,. Ha!! |

night. I had a very faint ground loop buzz that may be pedal board related. but overall it performed extremely well .. The house was packed and several musicians attended and commented positively on the sound. Maybe 35 people tops. Very crisp clean sounding unit and the yorkville added a bit of punch. Overall I am quite pleased with this combo and will make it my go to pa for quiet listening clubs. |

All the 1/4” input and output jacks are TRS balanced. I would try a balanced connection between the Sunburst Gear and Yorkville. |

Yea i thought that as well .. I was just using a guitar
cord to patch the two together. Also i could go xlr out from my board to the yorkville than piggy back xlr out to the m6br8. Which has no xlr out. |

Actually, the M6BR8’s 1/4” outputs are balanced TRS. You just need a TRS to XLR cable. That or maybe just a TRS to TRS cable, depending upon how your Yorkville inputs are configured. To go from the M6BR8 to the Bose S1, a 1/4” TRS to TRS cable works noticeably better than a guitar cable. |

i don't have a trs to trs..although i could make one up. The yorkville has combi jack inputs not sure if the 1/4 is trs. Last edited by varmonter; 04-16-2018 at 05:57 AM. |
