Funny, for me the top is a let down, I'd prefer it to be a SEB. However, the coco is the prettiest set I've ever seen!

I actually think the only thing that could make it nicer is no backstrip or maybe a light koa one.

I guess I'll be the contrarian as it doesn't do much for me. Grain is too wild for my tastes on the back, don't care for the rosette, and Martin has never done a burst I was terribly impressed with. This one's better than most, but...

I'm sure it's a great sounding guitar, and I don't have a problem with it, I just wouldn't call it out as particularly stunning.

That is a pretty guitar. I like the sunburst top with herringbone trim or with MOP trim. For me, both are really pretty. That back is stunning. Cocobolo can be very pretty.

I love Cocobolo. Not only is it visually stunning but sounds fantastic. I have a 00 and an OM

Not a great burst, Martin just doesn’t seem to get that done at the level of Collings and others.

The Cocobolo is stunning and in the right hands, produces the best tone this side of Brazilian.
