Just wondering.
I have an Amazon Associate account if you click the links from my YouTube channel BUT that’s not why I am recommending these systems in my video. The fact they are on Amazon just gave me extra incentive to make the video (and also the fact that I get asked every week to recommend a wireless system).

So fast forward: AGF, is the Carvin wireless solid? Worth the price? Not spotty on connection/interruptions during gigs? No hiss/noise?

I loved Carvin when I first started.. got professional gear at a fraction of the price and none of it ever let me down. Happy to throw them a bit more coin now and support if it works!

Yes it is but the one in my video is very similar and cheaper.

It’s great! To clarify though, the WG5 is not a Carvin invention. It’s manufactured and different brands buy it and put their name on it. I have the exact same system but mine is from a Canadian guitar company. I have seen a few different companies selling this exact same system. It’s really solid though.

The Carvin is not made by Carvin. It's not the same company it once was. Their wireless is a made in China model sold with different company names printed on it. You can save a bunch and buy the exact same thing for less through Amazon. Mine is labeled WG5 and it's the exact same thing and has been working great, but it's not built like my Shure. I prefer it for the convenience.

I ordered mine from your link, assuming the Associate account. I appreciate the reviews/comparisons you have posted. Thanks!

Just reviving this topic.
Has anything changed in the wireless transmitter arena?
The links in Aero's video show the cheaper system is out of stock, so I've found these ones as options.

Am I on the right track? Has any one purchased these exact same ones?

Thanks for letting me know, I updated the link in my video, here it is (currently 20% off!):

The ones that you have listed are not recommended, I have tried them.

Thanks Aero, most appreciated.
I have a Fishman Matrix Infinity Mic Blend pickup which has a 9v battery installed. Don't suppose you've tested something similar for compatibility?

I am 99.9% sure that it will work as it worked with everything that I tried with it.

Initially it did, until I realised it was in US dollars!!!
Converted to the Aussie Dollar, it was about $117AUD.
Still better than most!

I feel for you brother. Living in Canada we get dinged just as hard. But at least we both have access to all the good stuff and it’s relatively affordable.

Hey, fellow AGFers ... Anyone need a M5 Receiver? FREE - just pay shipping.
I crushed the Transmitter when my guitar accidentally hit the floor. I bought a different set so this one is yours to the first PM I get.

Cheers!
