Maury,
Good morning - I have had an AER 60/3 and to me it is the best acoustic amp I have owned. Can you compare the AER to the MB Rosette 1 x 10? Maybe they are just different animals - 60 wattts vs up to 300 watts, but just in terms of guitar tone, I would be interested in your thoughts.

I have had Fishman LB amps (Performer and Artist)/original BOSE L1/B1, etc.
Currently I use BOSE S1s and supplement with the AER when needed.

can I go straight into this amp with a KK mini and no preamp? Does it get a nice high end without a tweeter?

I have the 2x8 version, which has a switch to turn the tweeter down or off, and I believe the 1x10 is the same in that regard.

The guitars and vocals all sounded very natural. REALLY good. GREAT for such a simple setup. Wow.
