I was cruising local Craigslist today and found a set of used Oktava MK-012-01 for a good deal. The older guy selling them told me he had them for years in his home studio and live shows. They appear to be in excellent condition.

We'll see if I can do them "justice" .... As I am still learning. There is a lot more to recording than the "equipment".

Nice grab! The cool thing with the MK012 modular system is that there are multiple caps (SDC, MDC, LDC) that you can add if desired.

Yeah.. That's a great point DukeX...Glad you mentioned.

Actually, I only intended to buy one (limited funds this time of year).
But the seller was cool and made me a sweet deal... so I grabbed both of them.

So glad I did! They sound really nice in the little test session earlier.
