Arrow SOLD! - Calton Flight Case

This is a Canadian-made Calton flight case I purchased from its previous owner a couple of years ago to protect my Taylor 914ce Grand Auditorium. I recently sold that guitar with its original Taylor case.

Approximate Inside dimensions are as follows:

Width at lower bout: 15.75 - inches.
Width at upper bout: 11.75 - inches.
Body length: 20-inches.
Depth at lower bout: 4.5-inches.

The case has a charcoal gray fiberglass shell and red interior. It shows normal signs of wear (see pictures). The case functions normally - the handle, as well as all the latches and hinges are in good shape. Interior is also in very good condition.

[B][I]For sale on AGF for $OLD to your door and I will cover shipping and pp fees in Continental U.S. Sold in "as-is" condition.

Default Size matters

Someone requested a picture showing the measurement of the distance clearing the neck cradle (approximately 13 3/8") Razo Grand Auditorium shown.

Another question was whether a Taylor GS (16 1/4" LB) would fit into the case.

Yes, but it required putting one side in, compressing the side padding and then pushing the other side in for a very snug fit. (Taylor 416ce shown).

I believe a guitar with a 15.75- 16" Lower Bout would work much better in this case for an easy entry and removal for your instrument.

Thanks for looking, let me know if you have any questions.

Smile If only...

I spoke with Doug hoping this might fit my J Kinnaird custom, but not quite ...

Doug was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure for me!

This case is for a 14 fret, btw. My 12 fret would not work.

Should go fast!

Cheers

Paul

Thanks for the nice comment Paul!

I don't have a dreadnought so I stopped by Guitar Center at lunch today to check the fit on a Martin Dreadnought (Custom X 12 sting) and it fits nicely in both the upper and lower bout:

Below is a picture of my Rainsong BI-WS1000 in the case. The lid closes easily over the 5" lower bout depth and the 15.8" width lower bout slides right in, but not too snug.

send an email with any questions you may have to [email protected]

Thanks for looking.
