Default Karl Wallinger RIP

I was saddened to hear of Karl Wallinger's passing. His music always reminded me of The Beatles, especially John Lennon.

Watching him in a few videos, I noticed something I did not know before. He was left handed and played right handed guitars without reversing the strings which I find mind boggling.

Thank you Karl for all the great music and inspiration.

Jerry

If you know his bands but not the man this might help get you acquainted better than the video above.

Saw the Waterboys in Los Angeles on their This is the Sea tour in 1986. Simply amazing band, and Wallinger was a HUGE part of their sound. RIP.

Wow, very young and very sad. Liked the Waterboys and was crazy about World Party.
