I use a Yamaha MD-8 digital 8 track recorder with built in mixer section. It's connected to my computer for saving/salvaging purposes. I can run it straight to my Teac cd burner, but manipulating the wav files on Goldwav before going to cd has been a better process for me

Recorders
Well guys I count two Tascam 788's so far so make that
Three. I love my 788 and use it a lot for writing and have done a couple cd's and put them up on the web . Anyway the 788 is the heart and the art pre (cheap) gets my ES equipped Taylor into the mix and I have some KRK monitors and a burner. I have an early model that has been up dated to 1.5 I belive which is ancient now but hope to get another soon and link them for 16 tracks. I really have gotten my moneys worth and ther are even cheaper to buy now I understand. Later

YammerHammer 2816. Lexicon PCM81. 2 old Peavey VMP-2 (tube preamps).
I put most of my time into practice and playing. I record tracks for practicing my instruments. Our band records a few songs when the time is right. Definitely amateur recording.
