I was talking about the offensive coordinator who was pretty much a patsy for Rothlisberger. Tomlin is a defensive coach who can't win a challenge to save his life or admit to his mistakes.

Thanks for the update. I think that sounds about right. Suspended for the regular season and playoffs, and has to apply for re-instatement next year. He's appealing.

Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi one game for shoving Rudolph, and Pittsburgh center Maurkice Pouncey was suspended three games for his retaliation against Garrett.

I get the heat of the moment, but I'll never quite get hitting a guy in the helmet with your fist.

that was pretty quick. I've gotten used to the "We'll reach a decision after a complete investigation" bi line which is how they handle just about EVERYTHING.

For once, the league stepped in acted like adults.

Well, kicking the helmet is slightly more effective which he tried to do as well.

You have to set a precedent, but I think Pouncey did a somewhat noble thing there. He didn't even know how Rudolph took it as he just went straight after Garrett, but he he was probably thinking that he just seriously injured his teammate and was taking it to him for that.

Yep - he's out all remaining games this year including playoffs (which the Browns won't make). Unknown if this spills into next season. What a despicable act.

Garrett is lucky he didn't crack open Rudolph's skull - it could have easily happened.

No problem with Pouncey. Did what the situation called for.

Rudolph is getting fined as well for retaliating. I haven't heard for how much. Both teams are fined $250,000 and individual fines are pending for players who ran on the field from the sidelines to enter the fray.

It was quite a debacle. I'm so glad I turned it off after the Browns scored and didn't witness it in real time. I'd already had a belly full.

Former players are weighing in. Even James Harrison said it wasn't right. Somebody should get a statement from Burfect.

It's a shame that this event is going to overshadow everything else this week-end.

Interestingly, there's only a two games this week where both teams have at least a .500 record (Texans/Ravens and Pats/Eagles).

Another 400 plus yard 3 TD day for Average Dak.

Dak showing week in and week out that he’s one of the top QB’s in the NFL. He’s looking at a great payday soon.

Trick play, Edelman just threw for a touchdown.
2 point conversion good as well.

Beautiful play and two point conversion but there’s a whole half of football still left. Let’s see if the momentum shifts from here.
