Default Let's extinguish the word...

awesome from common usage. It's overused and misused because inevitably it's used in situations that do not really inspire awe. I propose that in place of awesome we strive to resurrect the word groovy. Anybody else on board???

I'll go with that. Would that be 'Groovy' with or without 'Baby'?

Perhaps 'Baby' could be included to add a little more awe to the proclamation?

I guess my usage of the word "cool" should have been discontinued 20 years ago along with "neat" .....

I'm not a user of the word "awesome." I prefer "great."

The meaning of "awesome" dictates that it be used very infrequently, not constantly for the most mundane features of life, as it is now used.
