Thanks for posting this video!

I didn't follow "The Voice" but was glad to have watched this video of Ricky Duran's singing. Also watched his audition video in "The Voice" after that.

Default I love this thread..!!!

I have always loved those Johnny Maestro / Brooklyn Bridge, and Jay Black songs.

Well how about Richie Rosato? I would have loved to be able to sing those harmonies with the Duprees!

I also liked the power of Gary Puckett with the Union Gap:

Aoife O’Donovan, hands down. She has the loveliest rendition of “Lakes of Pontchartrain”.

There are some beautiful voices presented in this thread that I hadn't heard before - thanks for those.

I would prefer a voice with some "character" instead of "pretty" so for me:

Daryl Hall
Don Henley
James Taylor
Levon Helm
and a couple have mentioned John Gorka - yep him too

I’m only the third in this thread to mention Paul McCartney. He had it all and is still in very good shape for his age. I think his “sweet” side tends to overshadow other aspects of his singing. He sang with grit and passion on plenty of tracks, from the early days (Kansas City) to the end of The Beatles (Oh Darling) and for at least another 20 years. He's always been there all these years, and I think it's easy to forget what a great artist he is. Although I’ve always liked The Beatles a lot, my appreciation of McCartney’s musical skill has grown over the years, especially after watching the group’s live performances and noticing his harmonies. In my opinion, he accounted for at least half of The Beatles’ collective talent.

I'm right with you! It'll be a really sad day in the Walker house when Sir Paul passes. May he live till 100.

Male - Gregg Allman or perhaps Richard Page or Larry Norman
Female, and I'm surprised no-one has mentioned her yet - Linda Ronstadt
