Ernie is an amazing singer and one of my great friends here on the AGF. A shout out to him.

Glenn, as guitar george mentioned (^^^), you also have an amazing voice that always fits the song you're playing. I wish I could sing like either of you.

If I could sing as well as Andrea Bocelli I would be pretty happy.

James Taylor.......because he's the only person my wife says she'd leave me for and I have more hair than he does. Oh, and he's not a bad singer, either.....

Good call Glenn... I’ve listened to Ernie for years and have nice chats. He’s very shy and humble. I’ve told him on many occasions to try AI or The Voice. I too love his very appealing tone, so smooth and graceful. Glen my friend you have quite the pipes too!

Greg Allman. His voice had such character and at such a young age.

I like a lot of different styles:

Ray LaMontagne
Glenn Tilbrook
Roddy Frame
George Harrison
Andy Partridge
Dallas Green
Phil Lynott
Richie Havens
James Taylor
Paul Simon

If I had to chose, I'd lean towards Tilbrook.

Wow, yes - fantastic voice! I'll need to look back and find more of his stuff.

Yeah, Frank had the voice of a generation! And just right for his time.

This list of amazing voices should include that of The Late, Great Tony Rice, IMO.

Believe the thread is, ahem, about a ‘singing’ voice. [emoji12]
